Author's Notes
This Page is meant to help us monitor our own progress as we write as well as keep our viewers/readers up to date on how the book is coming along. We want to get updates here at least once a month, and will be trying to do so. We aren't making any money off of writing yet so we need jobs and other sources of income. because of this we can't pump out this book in short order.
We have been writing Origins since 2009, admittedly we hadn't started getting serious about it until 2012. It is a work in progress and we dream that this will be our ticket to bigger and better things.

- - - When asked to talk about what the Story of Origins is, I had difficulty putting it all together on the spot. So i have written a couple Paragraphs on two important things: What this story is about and Why I am writing it.
- - - The main character (of my book) Named Seth is a genetically enhanced Half-Demon Spawn created by a scientist with unknown motives. Before he learns much of the reason for his existence he was forced to escape the government invasion, which was sent to destroy all the research the scientist and his colleagues had done in the facility… and any witnesses. Over his Journey to discover himself he must evade the government’s pursuit, even though time. As he learns more about himself a new threat makes his way appears: Fire Demons, along with a suspicious visitor in town, who has ice powers and wields a giant ice blade to combat them. Seth and his new friend Lucian, a humanoid looking Ice Demon, born of the now extinct Seiryu Clan, team up to form The Chaos Brigade with a few other Super powered individuals whose lives have been affected by the fire demons. Seth learns of his original purpose for existence and fights against the fear of what he could become to do the right thing. He learns of his origins, connecting to Lucian and the Seiryu, a race of ice Demons who willingly escaped Hell, but also a greater evil: the source of the Fire Demons, his Power and their master, The Umbra King.
- - - The main point I want to convey with my story telling is to shatter the stereotypes of good and evil which are typically portrayed as being black and white. I want people to see that in this world (One that is uncannily similar to our own (right down to the geography)) there are gray areas and there isn’t always a right answer for doing what we feel as right. This story introduces these elements using a world where "Superheroes" exist, possibly the lead offender of black and white story telling.
